Timing a political mail plan
Work backward from ballot drop and election day. For a vote-by-mail state the first piece lands the week ballots go out; for in-person voting the persuasion pieces land in the two weeks before early voting and the GOTV piece in the final five days. Marketing Mail takes three to ten days to deliver, so a drop is entered seven to ten days before it needs to land; First-Class, at higher postage, buys certainty in the last week. We book production slots for election cycles in advance.
Voter files and segments
You supply the voter file from the party, the state or a vendor; we standardize the addresses, NCOA them (a large share of registered voters have moved), de-duplicate to household so a family gets one piece, and split into the segments you define: party, vote history, precinct, age, gender. Each segment can carry its own message, printed as a version of the same piece.
Disclaimers and the union bug
Every piece carries the "paid for by" disclaimer your jurisdiction requires, sized and placed per the rules, and we flag a missing one at proof. A union bug is available on request for campaigns that need it, and the mail is entered as USPS Political Mail with the tag that lets the Postal Service track and expedite it.

How much do political mailers cost?
It is quoted for the district and the drop: a 6×11 postcard to a voter file, letters for persuasion and fundraising, or 6×11 EDDM to whole precincts, with printing, mail processing and postage stated separately, and First-Class quoted alongside Marketing Mail when the calendar is tight. Send the voter file size and the drop dates through the quote form for a written quote.
How fast can you print and mail political mail?
Standard turnaround is two business days from proof approval to USPS entry, with rush production available for a drop that cannot move. Delivery then takes one to five business days First-Class or three to ten as Marketing Mail; we plan the entry date backward from the day the piece needs to land.
Do you offer a union bug?
Yes, union printing with a union bug is available on request for campaigns that require it. Tell us when you order and the bug is placed on the proof.
Can you mail from our voter file?
Yes. Send the file in any spreadsheet format; we standardize and NCOA-update the addresses, de-duplicate to the household, split it into the segments you define and mail a version to each. The file is used only for your mailing and deleted afterward.
